The Canal in Langley (part 2)

Readers may recall that in the last issue we published a photograph of a swan in the canal and invited you to submit your own favourite photographs around the canal in Langley with a view to publication in Around Langley.

A resident of Waterside Grange, who wishes to be anonymous, sent us the photograph below of a Swedish Blue duck, named Agnetha by her friends. Many walkers along the canal would have spotted her because she is a rather unusual, large duck, and could almost be mistaken for a goose. Unfortunately she is missing now, having last been spotted on Sunday 24 April and everyone is very worried about her as she cannot fly and may be distressed. She has a very bubbly and friendly character and it would be great to see her safe return.

Anybody with any information about her is requested to contact xxxxx xxxxxx

The invitation to submit digital photographs (to the editor) remains open until the end of July.
